The combination of glass fibre and concrete to form a Glass reinforced concrete façade or GRC is the strengthening component for the panel. Fibre C is very much an acronym of these words “glassfibre” and “concrete”, a term coined by Rieder to describe its product material composition. This concrete panel offers class A1 fire resistance, long-term durability and is CWCT and BBA certified.
There are two layers of glass mesh fibres running through the concrete panel which enables the concrete panel to be only 13mm thick but incredibly dense. With traditional GRC products offering thicknesses of 20-25mm, Pura Facades can supply the UK market with 13mm thickness – therefore falling in line with standard ventilated facade panels and fixing systems.

concrete skin face fix
concrete skin can be fastened with rivets or screws on an aluminium substructure. Surface texture and colour match rivets are available from Pura Facades®.
For concrete skin installation, we recommend using three main fixing methods which include face fix, concealed fix with anchor and bolt, and concealed fix with adhesive. Bespoke fixing systems can also be recommended but for best results, speak to our technical team first on 0203 269 2052.
